On 20 November 2022, the Hoshendi Economic Zone was inaugurated at a grand event held at the zone premises in Munshiganj. The zone encompasses 108 acres of land and expects to employ 10,000 people directly and 5000 people indirectly within the first 3 years of commercial production. This Economic zone will help Bangladesh to grow as a developed country.
